Pro-Inclusion Napa's Positive Poster Project
Respect, Acceptance, Kindness.
These words are at the center of everything we do, including our Positive Poster Project (PPP). Working with students, we encourage them to think about and discuss these values with their peers and teachers. We provide thought-provoking questions, as well as poster boards and art supplies. The students then design a poster reflecting their understanding of one of the core value words.
The resulting posters are beautiful, unique, and inspirational. To date, more than 300 posters have been created by students, children, and families including at Brown’s Valley Elementary School, Valley Oak High School, Mentis Youth Program, New Tech High School, Camille Creek School, Willow Elementary School, and the local Martin Luther King Day and Juneteenth events.
PIN has been invited to display the posters organized into "quilts" at Napa City Hall and the Westin Verasa in downtown Napa.
