Volunteer Groups
Impact Through Collective Effort
Volunteering has long been an important part of community life, with individuals offering their time and talents to support a wide range of causes. In recent years, however, there has been a noticeable shift in how people choose to volunteer — with more groups stepping forward to serve together.

While the solo volunteer remains valuable, group volunteering is becoming increasingly popular. This approach brings people together around shared interests or goals, making it easier to build connections and broaden impact through collective effort.

Group volunteering reflects a growing interest in collaboration and community building. It fosters teamwork, increases engagement, and often leads to more sustainable outcomes for both volunteers and the organizations they support.

Understanding Corporate Volunteerism
-
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become an essential component of any successful company's framework. As businesses increasingly engage with their communities, corporate volunteerism has emerged as a transformative strategy that not only benefits society but also enhances company culture and performance.

-
The concept of "corporate volunteerism" is quite simple - it involves employees actively engaging in their community. However, its impact goes far beyond the traditional boundaries of business operations, as it highlights a company's commitment to social impact and community well-being.

-
Want to get your corporation involved in volunteering? Here is guidance from VolunteerHub.
CanDo welcomes volunteer groups for several of its projects.
We prefer to work with smaller groups of 15 volunteers at the most. Even individuals or pairs would be welcome.
